Title: Outer Darkness

Publisher: Image

Issue No.: 1

Creative Team: John Layman and Afu Chan. Cover By Afu Chan.

John Layman’s Chew series was a cracker and the preview art from Afu Chan has looked spectacular. I hear that if you like Star Trek you’ll love it and if you hate Star Trek you’ll love it.

From the Publisher:

“Sci-fi and horror collide in this new series from the co-creator of CHEW!

Mankind has colonized the galaxy, but during our interstellar travels, we discovered a terrifying secret out in the Outer Darkness of space. Join Captain Joshua Rigg and the crew of the starship Charon as they encounter demonic possessions, hauntings, cosmic horror, and more!

All-star writer JOHN LAYMAN (CHEW) and artist AFU CHAN (Immortal Iron Fists) are ready to let you know that outer space is terrifying.

Title: The Vision

Publisher: Marvel

Issue No.: 1

Creative Team: Chelsea Cain, Marc Mohan and Aud Koch. Cover by Marcos Martin.

The last Vision series was one of the best comics I’ve read recently. Chelsea Cain has a great track record and I’m looking forward to where they’ll take the Vision family unit.

From the Publisher:

“THE NEXT CHAPTER OF THE VISION FAMILY!

When the Vision decided to try to live a “normal” life, he built a wife, a son and a daughter – a family – only to watch it nearly all crumble. Now all that’s left is Viv, his learning-to-be-rebellious daughter, and Sparky, the family robo-dog. But what does it mean for an artificial intelligence to rebel? And can a synthezoid father handle single parenthood? The married writing team of Chelsea Cain (Mockingbird) and Marc Mohan joins rising star artist Aud Koch for a new take on the Vision family that will once again have everyone talking!

Title: Battlestar Galactica Classic

Publisher: Dynamite

Issue No.: 1

Creative Team: John Jackson Miller and Daniel HDR. Cover by Kelley Jones. Variant Cover by Walt Simonson.

I was won over by the recent 0 issue of BSG Classic. Now they hook me in with the incredible Walt Simonson variant cover. A great slice of retro sci-fi action.

From the Publisher:

“The remains of humanity have been fleeing the Cylon menace – until now! Joined by another, second fleet of fugitives, Commander Adama sees the opportunity to strike back. Can he continue chasing an Earth that may be a myth, when the chance for victory is real? Plus: the treacherous Count Baltar returns in this miniseries timed for Battlestar Galactica’s 40th anniversary year, written by New York Times bestselling author and comics writer JOHN JACKSON MILLER (Star Wars, Star Trek, Halo) and drawn by DANIEL HDR (Red Sonja)!

Publisher: Titan

Creative Team: Jody Houser, Rachael Stott and Enrica Eren Angiolini. Cover by Babs Tarr.

Having been delayed over the last few weeks – The Doctor is back and better than ever. I’m really looking for to the super team of Jody Houser and Rachael Stott taking us on new adventures in this new series from Titan Comics.

From the Publisher:

“The Doctor regenerates into her most thrilling incarnation yet – played by Jodie Whittaker, and traveling alongside three brand new companions!
