DAY OF THE HUNTER, PART 1 OF 6
HUNT. KILL. REPEAT. In the near future, a young girl sees her family slaughtered by the deadliest and most feared hunter in the universe: a PREDATOR. Years later, though her ship is barely holding together and food is running short, Theta won’t stop stalking the spaceways until the Yautja monster who killed her family is dead…or she is. Ed Brisson (IRON FIST, GHOST RIDER) and Kev Walker (DR. STRANGE, DOCTOR APHRA) forge a violent, heartbreaking, unforgettable new chapter in the PREDATOR saga not to be missed!
This book was due to have hit shelves over a year ago, but for reasons know only to Marvel it has been delayed until now. And it couldn’t have picked a better time. With fans captivated by the recent release of Prey, the Comanche set prequel, interest in the series is at an all time high. My interest was piqued by the artist Kev Walker, who’s art I’ve loved for some time, and it looks to shine here. Brisson is no slouch in the writing department either, so I hope the delay has been worth it.
Eight Billion Genies
Issue 4
Image Comics
Writer – Charles Soule
Artist – Ryan Browne
Buy on Comixology – Eight Billion Genies #4 (Link)
Welcome to…THE FIRST EIGHT WEEKS! As the world continues to change in the wake of genies appearing to everyone on Earth and offering them a single wish, things are getting intense! Plenty of folks have wished for superpowers, and we all know what happens when you get a bunch of superpowered people together—they fight! How will our heroes survive THE POWERED AGE?
Both heartfelt and bonkers, this series is one of the hits of 2022. I’m still an issue or two behind, thanks to various issues with Image Comics shipping to my local comic store, but I highly recommend this marvellous book.
Bill and Ted: Roll The Dice
Issue 3
Opus Comics
Writers – James Asmus and John Barber
Artists – Andrew Currie and Wayne Nichols
Buy from Forbidden Planet Online – Bill and Ted: Roll The Dice #3 (Link)
The Satanic Panic has hit San Dimas and sent Bill & Ted straight to Hell! There, they’re playing the game of their lives, with their souls on the line! Bill the Squire and Ted the Bard hack and slash their way to leveling up their party and finding some loot so they can prevent an army from invading San Dimas! Plus, the secret origin of Chuck De Nomolos!
Station! It’s so great having more Bill and Ted comics. The team here at Opus have really captured what makes Bill and Ted rock. The added element of a D&D style adventure is just the icing on the cake. Awesome!
Jurassic League

The trinity of Batsaur, Wonderdon, and Supersaur welcomes a few new monstrous members in the form of Aquanyx, Flashraptor, and Green Torch! But can even a fully-staffed Jurassic League stand a chance against Darkseid and his army of corrupted carnivores?
It’s Dinosaurs as Superheroes. What else do you need to know? Daniel Warren Johnson is swiftly becoming one of the premier voices in comics and I highly recommend you check out this and all his other work.

Issue 2
Marvel Comics

…THE WICKED WILL BE PUT TO DEATH! As the world shakes, an unlikely group of heroes and less-than-heroes gather to find a peaceful solution. Sadly, the best laid plans of man, mutant and Eternal oft go awry…
Judgement Day continues. It’s been a fun ride so far and Gillen seems to be having a ball putting all the characters through the wringer. I expect things to get worse before they get better.

WALKING THROUGH SKYPANEL
During the Fourth War of the Sun, a small dog named DOGGY experienced an irreparable trauma: his mother was brutally murdered, and his eight brothers, still puppies, were kidnapped by a mysterious man. To save them, Doggy fought bravely against the terrible killer, but all his efforts were in vain, and he was left for dead. What nobody imagined was that a technological vulture scavenging the region for corpses would be the one to rescue the dying dog from death’s scythe.
Now, Doggy has become Samurai Doggy, and his only goal is to quench his thirst for revenge.
Written by Chris Tex (BlackOut) and illustrated by Santtos (LAND OF THE LIVING GODS, BlackOut, Night Shift), SAMURAI DOGGY is a story of loss, revenge and the journey to defeat the greatest empire of machines and robots that has ever existed.
