New Releases
Keep Driving (PC) is a roguelike about a road trip to visit a friend. Manage your cash, petrol, energy and car durability while encountering an assortment of random events along the way. All with a nostalgic late 20th century aesthetic.
While Waiting (PC, Switch) is a game about doing nothing. Specifically, it’s a game where the goal is to simply wait, whether it’s an endless queue or waiting for clothes to dry. However, there is an abundance of weird and wacky side activities to get involved in while you wait.
Spirit Swap: Lo-Fi Beats to Match-3 To (PC, Xbox) is a match-3 puzzle game and visual novel where a queer witch sets out to put on a concert and help her assorted demon friends. Puzzle gameplay appears similar to the Puzzle League series (Tetris Attack, Pokémon Puzzle League, etc.), only now you can have more gay smooches if you wish.
Rift of the Necrodancer (PC) is a spin-off of Crypt of the Necrodancer. While that game blended Zelda-style action adventures with rhythm games (and then got to combine with actual Zelda in Cadence of Hyrule), Rift is a pure rhythm game. Imagine Guitar Hero but instead of notes, you’re hitting enemies that slowly move down the screen in rhythm. Played a bit of the demo of this, and it’s surprisingly challenging due to the variety of enemies that get thrown at you.
Kingdom Come Deliverance II (PC, PS5, Xbox X/S) is the sequel to the brutally difficult “historically accurate” medieval RPG where you play a simple peasant. The second game continues Henry’s story as he seeks to avenge the deaths of his parents while simultaneously avoiding getting killed by a random farmer.

Game of the Week
Game of the Week is Momodora: Moonlit Farewell (PC, PS5, Switch, Xbox X/S), a Metroidvania about demons and the priestesses who banish them.
Momodora: Moonlit Farewell is the final game in the Momodora series of indie platformers, starring a priestess named Momo who sets out to find the source of a new demonic invasion that attacks her village. The game is a Metroidvania where Momo gradually gains new powers that open new routes and aid her in the battle against the demonic forces.
Okay, technically this released a month ago, but this week is its console release. I’ve been playing it for review and enjoying the heck out of it. Beautiful visuals and music, some solid movement mechanics (that’s always how a Metroidvania wins me over!) and some great characters make this a fantastic experience.
